Question suggestions and follow-ups

How learners see the suggested question chips when a chat opens, where you edit them, and why there are no follow-ups after each answer.

Written by Romain Morvant

The chips under the greeting are the questions learners can tap when a chat opens. You write them once in the assistant's settings. Raison does not offer a separate follow-up list after each answer.

The Intro & suggestions block on the General settings tab, with editable question chips, Remove suggestion controls and the Add suggestion button.

Where you edit them

You add, rewrite and remove the chips in Intro & suggestions on the General tab of the assistant's Settings. The steps are in Intro message and conversation starters.

What learners see

Learners see these chips when a chat opens. If you add more than three, they page through them three at a time. This is not a follow-up engine that runs after every reply.

For quick actions in the message field, attach default prompts on the same General tab.
