Learners can see the materials behind an answer. The switch that controls this is Share resources with users, on Settings, tab Learner experience, under Learner permissions. It is on by default.

Turn Share resources with users on or off

Open the assistant, then Settings. Select Learner experience. Turn Share resources with users on or off, then select Save when the bar appears.

When Share resources with users is on, learners can see the materials used in answers. When it is off, those previews are hidden. What learners see in chat is covered in <a href="https://help.raison.is/en/articles/16785093-check-the-sources-behind-an-answer">Check the sources behind an answer</a>.
