Check the sources behind an answer

See which course materials an answer is based on, and why the Sources option may be missing.

Written by Romain Morvant

When an answer uses your course materials, Raison can show the sources behind it. You see them only if your teacher left the option on.

An answer in the chat with the Sources button below it, next to Copy, Read aloud, Ask my teacher and More actions

Open the sources

Wait until the answer has finished. On the latest answer, select Sources. On an older answer, open More actions, then View sources.

Open a listed resource to preview it. You usually see the passage the assistant used, not always the full document.

If you do not see Sources

Either that answer did not cite course materials, or your teacher turned the option off. You can still chat. Ask your teacher if you need to see the materials behind an answer.

If the answer is not enough, you can send the question to your teacher.
