Open an assistant from a link

Open an assistant from a link your teacher sent you, confirm your email with a code, and what to do if it doesn't open.

Written by Romain Morvant

Your teacher sent you a Raison link to one assistant. You open it, confirm it is you, and start chatting. You do not need a teacher account or a password.

Open the link

Select the link in the message you received, from email, your course, or chat. Your browser opens the assistant.

Confirm it is you

Raison asks for your email so it can send you a 6-digit code. Type your email, then the code from your inbox, and continue. The full steps are in Sign in with your email and a code.

On the same browser, Raison can remember you and skip this next time.

If the assistant does not open

If you are blocked, or the assistant is not available, ask your teacher. If the link is old or broken, ask for a new one.

If you usually open the assistant from Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard, open it from your course instead. To find every assistant you already have, use the learner workspace.
