Create a custom mode

A custom mode is a named set of instructions for this assistant. You add it on Settings, tab General, under Modes.

Open the assistant, then Settings, then General. Under Modes, select Add custom mode. The dashed card also shows Create.

This card is hidden while Admin assistant is on. Turn Admin off first, or enable Support or Effort so the assistant leaves Admin.

You need all three fields: Title, Description, and Instructions. In Instructions, describe how the assistant should behave. Those lines guide the whole conversation.

Select Create to save, or Cancel. Create saves immediately. You do not need to Save from the bar for this step.

Select the custom mode card, with Admin off, to change Title, Description, or Instructions, then Save.
