Learners can send you a question from the chat with Ask my teacher when the Enable ask Instructor setting is on. That switch is on Settings, tab Learner experience, under Learner permissions. It is on by default.

Open the assistant, then Settings. Select Learner experience. Change Enable ask Instructor, then select Save when the bar appears.

When Enable ask Instructor is on, learners see Ask my teacher in the chat. They can add details and send. You reply from that same thread. When it is off, Ask my teacher does not appear.
