"Session expired": what to do

Get a new access link when the chat on a share link or widget stops with "Session expired", and what to do in the learner workspace.

Written by Romain Morvant

Use this page if the chat on a share link or a widget stopped with Session expired. On a share link or a widget, the chat lasts about 30 minutes. When it stops, ask Raison to email a new access link.

If a different message blocks the chat, or the page never loaded, see the troubleshooting articles under Related.

Get a new access link

Select Refresh session. Raison emails a workspace sign-in link for this assistant. Open that email in your browser. It is not another 6-digit code.

If the email is missing, you can send it again.

The first time you open a share link or widget, you still use your email and a 6-digit code.

Signing in again on another browser

On the same browser, Raison can remember you and skip sign-in. A private window, another browser, or cleared site data starts over.

If you were in a graded quiz and the page asks for your email and a code again, that is not this screen. See Start a quiz and work with the timer.

If you were in the learner workspace

The workspace never shows Session expired. If you land back on sign-in, enter your email and open the sign-in link. Use the same email as before.
