What is a Raison prompt?

Learn what a prompt is in Raison, what each prompt contains, and how the prompt library differs from chat shortcuts.

Written by Romain Morvant

A prompt is a set of instructions you keep and reuse on your assistants, instead of typing the same text each time. This page explains what a prompt contains and where to find the prompt library.

Open the library

Open Prompts in the sidebar. You land on Discover. The other tabs are My prompts and Organization. Every signed-in teacher can open this page.

What you see

Each prompt has a name, a short description, a category (Understand, Practice, Revise, or Create), and the instruction text. Open a prompt to read it, copy the text, or save it to your list.

What a prompt is not

This library is not the chips you tap in chat. Those live on the assistant, as default prompts. A prompt is also not a conversation starter, a question suggestion, or a built-in shortcut such as Quiz, Summary, Study plan, or Diagram.
