When you open an assistant, you land on Overview. This tab is a snapshot of the assistant: the prompt, the modes, the resources, and recent usage.

The Overview tab of an assistant, showing the prompt, the modes summary, a resource link, and the usage chart with its date range selector.

Open Overview

You reach this page from the list of assistants.

  1. In the sidebar, select Teaching assistants.

  2. Select an assistant. Raison opens Overview.

The page title is the assistant name. If you can edit, select the title to rename it.

What you see

At the top, Raison shows the assistant prompt. If the text is long, select Read more or Read less.

Below that, a short summary lists the modes (typically Support and Effort), resource chips you can open to see the file names, and an attached course line when the assistant is attached to a course.

Under that, a usage chart shows messages, active users, and conversations for a date range you choose.

Tabs and header

From this page you can also open Knowledge base, Settings, Learners, Timeline, Analytics, and Q&A.

The Timeline tab is the schedule. In French that tab is Plan de cours, while the matching menu item is Timeline (Chronologie in French).

In the header:

  • Preview opens a chat as a learner would see it. The product also calls this Learner preview.

  • Share opens sharing and publish controls.

  • The menu next to the title offers Duplicate teaching assistant and Delete teaching assistant when your role allows it.
