The extracted content is wrong or incomplete

Check the parsed text of a resource when answers look wrong or the extract is empty, and understand warnings that don't fail the file.

This page helps you when answers look wrong or a resource's extract is empty. Open the resource and compare the original with the parsed text.

Check the parsed text

Open the resource details and select the Parsed tab. If parsed content is missing, Raison could not read usable text. Typical causes: the content could not be extracted, nothing usable was found, or extraction was unreliable.

Retry or replace the file. For scans and slides, try the second pass offered on flagged files. That flow is described in How Raison reads images inside your documents.

Warnings that do not fail the file

A resource can be Ready and still show warnings:

  • images that were not fully interpreted

  • very little text

  • links to external resources

  • media inside the file

A warning is a cue to run a second pass, or to add the linked file, page, or video as its own resource. It is not the same as Error.
