Everything that feeds an assistant: library, collections, imports, formats, ingestion status and citations.

Content & knowledge bases

Understand how the library, collections and an assistant's knowledge base fit together when you add course materials.

Library, collection and knowledge base: the difference

Create a collection of resources, name it, and keep your collections organized so you can link them to assistants.

Create and organize a collection

Link a collection to an assistant's knowledge base, start an assistant from a collection, or unlink a collection you no longer need.

Attach a collection to an assistant

As an organization admin, choose collections every new assistant receives, and optionally add them to existing assistants.

Organization default collections

Library, collections, knowledge bases, and attaching content to an assistant.

Organizing your content

Upload files from your computer into your library or a collection, check accepted types and size limits, and retry failed uploads.

Upload files

Add a public web page, a public online file or a YouTube link as a resource, and optionally pick pages linked from it.

Add a web page

Paste notes, a policy, a transcript or any other text as a titled resource when you have no file to upload.

Add free text

Upload a SCORM zip from your computer and choose which items inside the package become resources.

Import a SCORM package

Pull selected files, pages or modules from a connected Moodle, Canvas or Blackboard course into a collection as resources.

Import from Moodle, Canvas or Blackboard

Add videos from a connected Vimeo, Kaltura or Nudgis by Ubicast account as resources, and fix an empty video list.

Import a video from Vimeo, Kaltura or Nudgis

Files, web pages, free text, SCORM, LMS imports and videos.

Adding resources

See which file types you can upload to Raison and the maximum file size for each type on each plan tier.

Supported file formats and size limits

Learn how Raison turns uploaded images and figures inside PDFs or Office documents into text an assistant can use.

How Raison reads images inside your documents

Learn how Raison reads Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OpenDocument and EPUB files, and what an assistant sees from each.

Office documents, Excel files and rich content

Learn how Raison gets a transcript from uploaded video and audio files, Vimeo, Kaltura, Nudgis and YouTube videos.

Video transcription

Supported formats, size limits, images, Office files and transcription.

Formats and processing

Learn what each status chip on a collection or resource means (Ready, Processing, Pending, To review, Error) and what to do next.

Understanding a resource's sync status

What to do when a resource shows Error: open the collection review, then retry, replace or remove the file.

When a resource fails to process

Retry a failed file or sync a collection after you add or remove documents, so your assistants use the latest content.

Re-sync a resource

Permanently delete documents from a collection, then sync the collection so your assistants stop using them.

Remove a resource from a collection

Sync status, source sheet, tags, metadata and citations.

Quality & monitoring

What to do when a resource stays on Processing or Pending: wait, refresh, and know when to check the file or contact support.

A resource won't finish processing

Check the parsed text of a resource when answers look wrong or the extract is empty, and understand warnings that don't fail the file.

The extracted content is wrong or incomplete

Fix a video resource with no transcript, whether it was uploaded, added from YouTube, or imported from Vimeo, Kaltura or Nudgis.

A video has no transcript

Understand why a SCORM or H5P zip fails at upload and how to fix it: re-export, recreate the archive, or check the size limit.

A SCORM package was rejected

Find out why files are missing after a Moodle, Canvas or Blackboard import, and how to select them or turn on course updates.

An imported course is missing files

Stuck processing, bad extraction, missing transcript, rejected SCORM, incomplete import.

This prototype demo is aware that you are reading “{title}”. It can point you back to the current article, but a production article-aware Fin contract is still follow-up work.

Prototype article-aware answer

Because you already asked about invitations, this prototype demo can add the follow-up: use the role selector before sending each invite to limit access to the teammate responsibilities.

Prototype role-limiting follow-up

This prototype demo suggests starting with your workspace profile, inviting the team members who need access, and then connecting the integrations you use.

Prototype getting-started answer

In this prototype demo, integrations are configured from workspace settings. Choose the integration, connect the account, and review the enabled permissions.

Prototype integrations answer

In this prototype demo, invite teammates from workspace settings, then choose the access each teammate needs before sending the invitation.

Prototype invite-team answer

This prototype demo does not have a scripted answer for that question yet. Try asking how to invite your team or open a source article. No production Fin API was called.
