This page is for organization admins. You can choose collections that every new assistant in the organization receives. After creation, a teacher can unlink those collections from that assistant the same way they unlink any other collection.
Choose default collections
Open Organization, then Assistants.
Add the collections you want as defaults.
Save.
Only organization collections that have finished processing appear. Personal collections, archived collections and collections still processing don't.
If you pick none, new assistants only get the collections chosen during creation.
What happens for new assistants
The next assistant created in the organization receives the saved defaults, on top of any collection already picked on that path. That includes assistants created from a collection, from scratch, from an LMS course, or by duplicate.
Changing the default set later doesn't rewrite assistants that already exist, until you apply the set.
Apply to existing assistants
After you save a change, Raison can also add the current defaults to assistants that already exist. That step is additive: nothing is unlinked. Assistants that receive at least one new collection are rebuilt.
You can skip that step. Then only assistants created from this point on receive the new defaults. Removing a collection from the default set doesn't remove it from assistants that already have it. An assistant still can't lose its last collection.
