Create and organize a collection

Create a collection of resources, name it, and keep your collections organized so you can link them to assistants.

Written by Romain Morvant

This page shows you how to create a collection and keep your collections organized. A collection is a named group of resources: you build it once, then link it to assistants (and to quizzes or case studies) whenever you need that material.

Create a collection

  1. Open Knowledge bases in the sidebar.

  2. Create a collection and add at least one resource. Raison needs a resource before it lets you name the collection.

  3. Give it a name and an optional description.

Processing usually takes a minute or two. If a file needs your attention, retry it, replace it or remove it before the collection is ready to use. When everything is processed, the collection appears in the list with its status, how many resources it has, and which assistants use it.

Keep collections organized

From Collections you can search, open a collection to review its resources, and see which assistants already use it. Open a collection and edit it to change the name or description. Changing the name doesn't unlink it from assistants.

From a ready collection you can also create an assistant. That new assistant starts with this collection already in its knowledge base.
