If you already built a collection, you can reuse it instead of uploading files again. The collection becomes the assistant's knowledge base.
From Quick create
Open Quick create in the sidebar, then select Use a collection.
Search your collections if you have many. You can hide collections that are not Ready yet.
Select one or more collections that are Ready. Empty collections, collections still processing, collections that need review, and collections with errors cannot be selected.
Select Continue, review the collections, then select Generate assistant.
If you do not have a collection yet, go back and choose Start from scratch instead.
From a collection in Knowledge bases
Open Knowledge bases and open the collection. When it is Ready, select Create assistant.
That shortcut opens the same path with the collection already selected. The button is not shown while the collection is still processing, needs review, or has errors.
After you generate
Raison names the assistant New assistant until you rename it after generation.
