Set learning objectives

Review, edit, add or remove the learning objectives Raison drafts for a quiz, before questions are generated from them.

Written by Romain Morvant

After you pick a source for a quiz, Raison drafts learning objectives from that material. This page explains how to review and edit them. Questions are generated from the objectives you keep, and you cannot skip this step.

When the list appears

If the collection is still processing, wait until the drafted list appears. Each objective has a title and a description. The description should say what learners should be able to do. Both must be filled before you can continue, and before you can add another objective.

Edit the list

Open an objective to change its title or description. You can add one of your own, or remove one you do not want.

  • Keep at least one complete objective (title and description filled).

  • Use Make more granular to split the list into more specific objectives. This control is for quizzes.

Quiz objectives do not have a Bloom level. That setting belongs to case studies, not to this step.

Continue to create the quiz

When the list looks right, continue. Next you choose how questions are generated and how the quiz is delivered, then create the quiz.

When it finishes, Raison opens the quiz summary. You can set the quiz title there, preview the quiz, or review the questions. The summary lists the objectives you kept.

If some objectives could not generate questions, open the questions list to fix those items.
