Quizzes in Exams use five question types, and each one asks learners to answer in a different way. This page covers the teacher editor in Exams, not the on-demand quiz in assistant chat.
Open the questions
Open Exams, open the quiz, then go to Questions. The list is grouped by learning objective, and the quiz covers all of them. Questions that do not sit under an objective appear in Other questions. Once the list has questions, you can search, and you can filter by type, difficulty, or whether a question is active.
If some objectives could not generate questions, the list flags those groups so you can fix them later.
The five types
Use the type that matches how you want learners to answer. These are the only types in this editor. There is no matching, ordering, or case-study question type here.
Single choice: learners pick one option. Mark the correct answer.
Multiple choice: learners can pick more than one option. Mark every correct answer.
True / False: two options. Mark the correct one.
Fill in the blank: learners type a short answer. You list the accepted values. Any of those values counts as correct.
Open-ended: learners write a longer answer. You provide a model answer that Raison uses to grade.
Each question also has a difficulty: Very easy, Easy, Medium, Hard, or Very hard. A question you add yourself starts as single choice at medium difficulty.
Case study is not this list
This list is for quizzes in Exams. Case study is a different exam format. It is listed but unavailable, marked Coming soon, so you cannot build case-study questions here. See Quiz or case study: which to choose.
A different quiz path
Learners can also ask for a quiz inside an assistant chat. That shortcut is a different product path from the Exams editor.
