Raison is where you create AI teaching assistants grounded in your course materials. Follow these five steps to go from a new account to an assistant your learners can open. Each step links to a detailed article.
1. Create your account
Sign up at app.raison.is with Google or with your email and password, then complete your profile. See Create your account and sign in.
2. Find your way around
The sidebar takes you to Quick create, Dashboard, Teaching assistants, and Knowledge bases. Your avatar menu holds Settings, Language, and Log out. See A tour of the interface.
3. Create your first assistant
Right after sign-up, Raison opens Create a teaching assistant. Pick a collection, start from scratch, or import from a connected LMS, then generate the assistant. This usually takes 1–2 minutes. See Create and publish your first assistant.
4. Share it
Select Share the link to make the assistant public and copy its link. Learners sign in with their email and a code, and do not need a teacher account. See Get and distribute the share link and Share an assistant with a colleague.
5. Set your language and theme
Open your avatar menu, or go to Settings → Preferences, to pick the interface language and the System, Light, or Dark theme. See Change the interface language and theme.
