Raison has no age check at sign-in, and no parental-consent setting. If you work with learners who are minors, use the privacy controls that already exist, then follow your institution's rules.
What the product does not do
There is no date-of-birth field for learners, and no switch that turns on a minors mode. On a teacher profile, teaching category includes K-12 Education. That choice does not change anonymization, who can see chats, or how learners sign in.
This article is not legal advice. Your school or organization still decides who may use the product, at what age, and with which consent. For a contract or a specific case, write to [email protected].
Prefer an organization space
Disclaimer, learner onboarding, and anonymize learner names live in organization assistant settings. Only an admin sees that page. A trainer does not. Those controls are not available in a personal space.
Hide names from teachers
Turn on anonymize learner names in privacy. Teachers then see animal pseudonyms instead of real names and emails in analytics, transcripts, and learner management. Emails and profile photos are also hidden in those views. The change applies to the whole organization as soon as you save.
Who can see conversations
A chat belongs to the learner who started it. Other learners cannot open it. Teachers with access to that assistant can review it from the learners list (transcript) and from Q&A when a learner used Ask my teacher.
The second welcome screen tells learners that conversations can be logged and reviewed. You cannot edit that screen. An admin can add a disclaimer under the chat field for extra notice.
Training
Raison uses conversations and course materials to run this product, including teacher review. It does not use them to train base language models. See Is my work used to train models?.
