Invite or import learners

Add learners to a quiz manually, from a CSV or from an LMS course, then email them the quiz link.

The Learners tab is where you add people to a quiz and email them the share link. Sharing the link without importing anyone is a different step, covered in Publish and share a quiz.

Open Learners

Open Exams, open the quiz, then go to Learners. Activity appears here once people start the quiz. If the list is empty, import learners or share the quiz link.

You can search the list once it has people.

Import learners

Select Import learners. You can type people in with Manual entry, upload a CSV, or pull a course list from Moodle, Blackboard, or Canvas when that integration is available.

For a manual row or a CSV, include an email. First name, last name, and an id are optional. Only the email is required. A CSV must have an email column.

For an LMS course, pick the course, then import the enrolled learners. The LMS must already be connected. This import is not the organization-wide course sync.

Email the quiz link

On a learner who has an email and is not banned, send an invitation with the quiz link. Choose the email language, then send. You can select several rows and send in one go. Banned learners cannot be emailed from this tab.

After the send finishes, the confirmation shows how many invitation emails actually went out. If some selected learners cannot be emailed, that number can be lower than the number of rows you selected. If no invitation can be sent, Raison shows an error instead.
